Zoe Oversize Queen Cotton Duvet Set, White, 3 Pieces

This is a beautiful classic bright-white cotton early jacquard matelasse bed cover from France in good condition. The padding is very 3-dimensional with a center medallion that is surrounded by borders of floral garlands, ferns, geometric patterns and is framed with a broad border in a diamond pattern. Pretty to use folded at the foot of any size bed, as a throw blanket over furniture or it could also be used for upholstery or pillows. This comes from the archives of Deirdre Coughlin, founder of Phoebe’s Closet. She specializes in antique textiles and sold them to many New York City Designers including Ralph Lauren (that’s how I know her,) Charlotte Moss, Schumacher, among many others. less
