Details Details Close Description A pair of early and scarce Mason’s ironstone dessert plates These are in the very distinctive “Cabbage Leaf” molded shape with wavy edges, which is unique to Manson’s Large sprays of colorful flowers interspersed with golden springs and highlights on the raised areas Made by the Mason’s factory at Lane Delph, Staffordshire, England, circa 1813-1820. One is unmarked, which is common for the early Mason’s production, while the other displays the incised crown backstamp, although not very clear Each plate bears an old identification label upfront from a previous collector These came together with a serving dish in the same pattern, which is listed for sale separately.
