Resembling an artichoke with its leaves open, the fixture consists of dozens of thin trapezoidal metal sheets which surround the metal bracket inside. The meticulous and complex structure of the layered rows never allow the light source, located in the center, to be revealed from any angle. The matte white finish under each “scale” helps reflect light, while keeping it glare free. This fixture takes one warm white, low-wattage LED E26 (100 watt bulb recommended-not included) which provides just the right amount of light.
