Details Details Close Description Ruffled and Large 8″ Trumpet shaped Art Glass – for Hurricane style Lamps with a 2″ Fitter. There is a raised pattern of florals, leaves and dots in the opaque glass from fitter rim down to the neck and then clear glass to the ruffled rim. Style is a blend of the art nouveau & victorian periods. I have also seen the word “petticoat” used for this shape of lamp glass. Country & Maker are unknown – no markings and no match when researched. Pressed glass is hefty in weight. The high quality smaller art glass shades were made primarily between 1900 and the beginning of the depression in the late 1920s.
