Details Details Close Description This listing is for a mid century drawing by award winning artist, Krystyna Sadowska. The drawing depicts girls with flowers in an outdoor setting. The piece comes in a red mid century frame. Frame measures 14.5 x 16.6 inches Drawing measures 12 x 9.5 inches. Signed in lower right corner Sadowska was born in Lublin, Poland in 1912 and died in 1994. She studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, the Central School of Arts and Crafts (London) and the Académie de la Grande Chaumière (Paris). Sadowska lived in Brazil, England, and later, Canada. Sadowska was first known for her work in tapestry and later ceramic, painting, batik and metal sculpture.
