Details Details Close Description This work is an original A4 composition (approx. 8.5” X 12”), unframed. 2020-2021. Medium: Vegetable Dyed Silk, 100% Recycled Cotton Rag Paper The integrity of my materials and my relationship with them is of the utmost importance. That is why the silks I dyed with are 100% natural fibers and were dyed in my home with avocado pits, avocado skins, and onion peels over the course of 1-2 days to achieve the rosy and golden hues that bring playful light and a sense of ease into a space. The dyed silks are hand-sewn by myself into Khadi paper, which is a hand-made paper from South India made from 100% recycled cotton rag. This collection of stitched works was created in 2019. less DIMENSIONS 8.5ʺW × 0.1ʺD × 12ʺH STYLES AbstractContemporaryMinimalism ART SUBJECTS AbstractPatternsOther FRAME TYPE Unframed PERIOD 2010s COUNTRY OF ORIGIN United States ITEM TYPE New MATERIALS FabricFiberNatural FiberPaperSilk CONDITION Mint Condition, No Imperfections COLOR Blush TEAR SHEET CONDITION NOTES Colors may vary in real life.
