This drive comes with both USBC and USBA cables, which makes it perfect for sharing between computers that have only one or the other. My MacBookPro only has USBC so I use that cable with this drive for super speedy transfers. Then when I have my videos safely on the drive and need to convert them for editing, I can take them to my MacMini which only has USBA ports.
