Details Details Close Description This dynamic figural abstraction is by Mid-Century artist Tomas Fernandez Concepcion (1933-2012). A Filipino artist and former revolutionary (even served a term in the House of Representatives), Concepcion is widely collected and best known for his figural and portrait sculptures, including a commission of the Pope. After leaving art school in his early years, he spent time in Paris as a street painter, and later moved on to Rome where was very active in the social and art circles of the city.
