Details Details Close Description This botanical painting has a hidden female figure partly reclining behind the plants. All of the plant life is incredibly sculptural, created with extruded paint and recycled paint globules. There is a wide variety of textures within the painting, including adhered acrylic paint skins that were used in a collage-like manner. The colors in the work and choice of some of the plant life were inspired by Henri Matisse. The canvas measures 40” x 32”, Oil and acrylic on canvas. It is currently framed in a rustic Brown-Gray veneer wood floating frame.
