Now lined with durable stainless steel, the carafe promises the same thermal insulation without the risk of shattering. SCAA Approved Performance Like its predecessors, this latest entry to Bonavita’s line of coffee makers is a part of the SCAA’s Certified Home Brewer Program. The powerful and precise 1500-watt heater ensures an optimal brew temperature of 195°-205°F. A new feature of the brewer is the optional pre-infusion mode to wet coffee to allow for degassing prior to brewing.
