Details Details Close Description We are selling this very unusual and interesting bowl that we honestly have no clue what it is, we’ve shown it to several dealers in the field and they can’t place it. The bowl has pseudo Imari style decoration that is almost Islamic or Persian influenced on a pottery botty with yellow glazed foot. The bowl bares the label of Mrs. Russell S. Carter who was an important dealer in early English porcelain and pottery and who’s collection was gifted to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, many of which are on display. Condition: Several small chips to the rim and foot rim. Some surface wear.
